Chapter Philanthropy

Phi Mu supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) as our National Philanthropy. Phi Mu is the only sorority to be a corporate sponsor of CMNH. Since 1986, Phi Mu chapters across the nation have raised over $10 million in support of the 170 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in the United States.

The Lambda Iota chapter of Phi Mu supports the Vidant Health Children's Hospital. This is located less than two miles from East Carolina's campus in Greenville. Members have the opportunity to visit the hospital to spend time with patients and participate in numerous philanthropic events throughout the school year to raise money and spread awareness for CMNH.

One of our favorite philanthropy events is our annual Thanksgiving Dinner, which we have held since 2013, the year our chapter was chartered at ECU. In the past two years, we have also started two new events known as the Muau Luau and Milkshakes for Miracles.

We recently held our latest philanthropy event called Bonnamu! We raised over $4,000 for the kids at the CMN Hospitals!

Phi Mu sisters also support the philanthropic events of other Greek organizations and participate in campus and community service events.
