Executive Committee

Chapter President

Kayla Hymiller

Hometown: Outer Banks, NC Major: Elementary Education "When I decided to go through recruitment in 2019, I never knew that I would find a group of girls that honestly would change my life. From the moment I walked into the ballroom in the student center on the second day of recruitment with Phi Mu, I knew this was going to be my home. Everyday I find myself falling more and more in love with this chapter from every position I’ve held to every friendship I’ve made! I am so in love with this chapter and cannot wait to have the best year with my sisters! Phi Mu will forever be my Home away from Home!! If you would have told me when I was a freshman going through recruitment that I would one day be the president of Lambda Iota, I would have never believed you. These woman brought out the best side of me that I never knew was possible. After holding my first position my freshmen year as my new member class’s president, I knew that I wanted to keep holding positions. I then went from New Member assistant to the executive position of New Member Director. These positions helped me meet more sisters and see something in myself that I didn’t see before. I have grown as a friend, a sister, a daughter, and most importantly as a woman in this chapter. I know that I will forever have Lambda Iota to support me and I am honored to be the next Chapter President."
